It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. Wonderful experience for our second time dining at Santacafe. Service was great; right down to the special touches. Food was incredible. Started with Oysters Rockefeller, which were amazing. The server also brought a little taster of the Porcini mushroom soup, which was to die for. For entrees we had the Bolognese and Steak frites; both were perfectly executed. Finished the night perfectly with the toasted marshmallow soft serve for dessert. We will be making this our frequent date spot!

Santacafe is a solid and consistent option for a business lunch. I had associates come into town today for an important conversation and we had a great experience.

We returned to SantaCafe after 29 years to celebrate our anniversary. We were here 29 years ago and wanted to come back. As expected the restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was great. But we were disappointed to learn the food quality was not so great. Oysters Rockefeller and pork dumpling appetizers were good. My dinner was pork chop and it was cold. So were my wife’s fries. I felt hurried the whole time being required to place our whole order at once instead of as we wanted. I suggest you go to the sister restaurant Coyote Cafe. No comparison on food quality. Coyote cafe is much better. Overall I give SantaCafe 3 stars.
