Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe's most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. Boasting one of the best outdoor patio dining experiences the City Different has to offer, Santacafé combines the traditions of modern American cooking with exquisitely locally sourced ingredients.

SantaCafe's menu is not extensive. But the food is always good (especially Maggie's pasta, and I'm not a big pasta eater) and there has always been a satisfying choice for a variety of food preferences. I love the ambiance, on the patio in warmer weather, or inside in the multiple small rooms with just a few tables in each (4-5?). Calm, peaceful. A go-to restaurant for me. Never disappointed.

The mushroom soup was amazing however the steak frites was undercooked. The meat was very raw when asked for medium rare and the fries, as tasty as they were, could have been cooked longer as they weren't very crisp and some seemed almost raw and under-seasoned! Salad was good cocktails and mushroom soup were amazing. PS - would have enjoyed bread service had they not ran out of bread!

The best service in Santa Fe and consistently great food as well! Johnny and Pablo are our favorite waiters but everyone is top notch. You can add lobster to anything you wish and wines by the glass are great. Don’t skip dessert! If you’re feeling boozy, have The Midas Touch! It’s beautiful and delicious. SantaCafé is perfect for ladies lunches, date nights, groups, or solo dining.

The scrumptious dumpling dunked in tasty tahini fill empty belly. Cassie and Daniel Phillips were great as always.

Second meal here this week! All the dishes were fantastic and MUST have the toasted marshmallow soft serve and lemon cake for desert. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly.

We had a delightful time at this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the wait staff were wonderful. We met dear friends whom we had not seen for many years and the staff kindly gave us time and space to catch up!
