I know that people love this place, and I have to say that other members of my party were more than happy with the food. I, however, had a very disappointing meal. It was the spaghetti marinara, which fits into my love of seafood and pasta. However, the calamari and the prawns were chewy and the sauce was very thick and glutinous. I understand that the pasta was freshly made, but it was much too soft for my liking (which may just be personal choice). The staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating, taking my food away and bringing back a fresh one but, unfortunately, it was no better. I will probably return to Sanremo in the future, but I will be very careful about my choice of food.

Absolutely amazing experience here as a table of 2 tonight. service was fantastic, the best cocktails i’ve ever had, and the food was unreal. everything about this resteraunt is perfect and i will return time and time again. thank you for a wonderful night!

All the food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed it all. The service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful food and great service from Chesta. The salmon dish was adjusted to suit a shellfish allergy and was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their pasta dishes and lamb meals. Lovely surroundings too and we would recommend.

Lovely food and service. Had a birthday plate organised for a special occasion too which was delivered right at the end of the meal. Staff were attentive and always looking to give you the best service possible. Would go back again!

Party of 6 with 2 coeliacs a Friday night early evening. First time going and hopefully won’t be the last. Friendly knowledgeable, attentive, impeccable service. Aware of cross contamination and very informative about menu both for gluten free (of which vast choice with no additional cost for GF pasta as many restaurants do) and non GF. Beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere. Food was delicious and throughly enjoyed by all. Didn’t take pictures as too busy enjoying it all. Clear plates (took last of pizza home) we all loved what we chose.
