Due to high levels of business, San Chez does not accept reservations on Saturdays & Sundays and is walk-in only. We accept reservations online for groups of 8 or fewer. For groups larger than 8 people please give us a call for availability.

City parking ramps 60 minutes free if in after 9:00 am & out before 6:00 pm for the ramp across Fulton St.the Monroe Center Ramp. 2.Various meters in the area. 3.The lot behind our building is not our lot. However the landlord lets us use it after 5:30 pm if there is no event at the Van Andel Arena it is free.

The Metro system of Grand Rapids called "The Rapid" has 6 lines that stop directly in front of 38 West Commerce. They are 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, 15.

What’s. Great night at San Chez !!! Andrew our sever was great and kept the food and drinks coming. Went with friends and couldn’t have had a better experience.

We love San Chez for their paella. Normally it's five stars. Unfortunately, our last trip the marisco (seafood) paella had only shrimp and beans with the rice. I'm sure it's a result of restaurants struggling. I'm hoping it'll be better next time.

Hey Richard, thanks for the review. We did recently change up what toppings come on the paella. The Marisco is supposed to also come with Langostino, it does have a shrimp like look to it. We hope it was in there, but sometimes it can be overlooked.

This is my second visit. Food top notch. Excellent service. Brought some out of state guests. We all enjoyed our time there.

The food was bland. Empanadas were so tiny and so bland. Was disappointed in what used to be my favorite spot

The food was delicious and the service was terrific. I am most impressed with the way you care for those with food allergies and sensitivities. Having the allergy chart was so helpful for deciding what to eat. I left without having a bloated or crampy feeling I usually get when eating out. Thank you for your care.

Remains one of our favorite restaurants in all of Grand Rapids. Always high quality good tasting food. It's never disappointed. We love the dishes to share.

Varity of tapas is great for a group. Vegetarian, vegans and gluten free is nice.

Our dinner was not the greatest. We ordered two plates of meat, steak & salmon and they both came out terribly raw still. They were cold and just not cooked.

Hey Brenna, we are so sorry the food came out raw. This is something we absolutely do not want to happen. We try and have at least two sets of eyes checking all food that goes out. Next time please let your server know so we can fix these issues while you are here.
