The evening includes, Buffet-style: Salad station - Soup station - Bread station - Oyster Raw bar - Carving Station - Dessert station and assortment of hot sides. When we first walked in, we had a reservation at six. We came in at six and they told us to go to the bar and wait for our table. Almost all the tables were available so we had a drink waited. Then my husband went up and asked if our table was ready after they seated three other couples. Then the hostess came and said whenever we’re ready she’ll set us down and we said to her we were ready when we got here so we’re ready and it was just really weird. Our waitress was great. The food was good and the rest of our evening was enjoyable, but the hostess, however, was not the best first impression for us

First time to Salt Wood. My wife & I really enjoyed our dinner. The oysters grilled & chilled were both amazing! Caviar, olive bread, and short rib also highly recommended! Bartender did not disappoint with the drinks. Will definitely be back!!!!

Oysters were delicious 9/10. Clams were very good 10/10. Lovely atmosphere 9/10. Sides (beef fat potatoes and cauliflower) were only OK 5/10. Short rib was too fatty and not fall of the bone tender - my husband rates it a 2/10. Breads were delicious 10/10. Wine list on the pricey side. Would go back again and order differently.

Good was so salty, some portions were decent others were very small. Staff was not very knowledgeable.

Welcoming greeting from manager to an outstanding server. Birthday celebration was met with complementary champagne, ordered Sunset drinks and appetizers and then to delightful oysters and seafood for dinner and finished with complementary birthday dessert. Staff met every dining need without asking for ANYTHING...Menu has really expanded since our last visit which is wonderful and looking forward to our next visit!
