"Mammoths & saber-tooth tigers once roamed these lands in search of their rich salts. Paleo-Indians hunted, farmed and raised families here because of the salt springs. Early settlers named their town Saline after the salt springs, and now in this stunning +120 year-old former church, so does this brewery.

Salt Springs Brewery offers lovingly crafted & locally sourced food, true-to-style ales, wine, cider, and craft cocktails. Located in the heart of Saline, complete with an outdoor Biergarten and main dining room filled with the original stained from 1899, Salt Springs Brewery will quench your thirst and nourish your soul."

This was a birthday dinner. I am gluten free and they have a lot of GF options. The food was delicious. The service was great and I got a free dessert for my birthday. It was a great evening.

We had never been to Salt Springs Brewery before and were looking forward to trying it. Probably won't return. Nothing flagrantly awful but the food was middling and the ambience wasn't the greatest. The staff was very friendly, though. Two of us got the fish and chips, which were a little too bready and not really crisp. The breading to fish ratio leaned to far to the breading side. The fries were fine but a little salty. One person ordered the swordfish special -- the fish and rice were overcooked and the broccolini was "woody." Our beers were tasty. Ambience-wise, the lighting in the restaurant was way too bright and, for some reason, they had fans running, which weirdly made the lighting kinda "fluttery" and ultimately left our eyes as dry as ping-pong balls. On paper, it seems like a good place -- lively, friendly staff and locally sourced foods. The execution wasn't the greatest.

We were there on a Friday night so most tables were full. It's small kitchen so food was slower. Waitress brought drinks and water, but could have checked on us more. Was asked if I wanted another beer when food was brought and I didn't. By the time I was ready we didn't see her again till offered desert.

Haven’t been since Covid and so glad we made the trek. Fantastic meal and service. Will be back sooner next time!

Patty Melt had way too much bread and a small, overcooked patty. Side Caesar salad was under-dressed and no grated Parmesan? Really? Waiter was pleasant and attentive, but food was not good.

Excellent food, privacy, atmosphere. Only one waitress today, but others in the bar area helped keep things moving.
