    The wait staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. We never got our order of shrimp tacos. Overall the food was ok but we sent back the grilled Octopus because it was very rubbery. The people next to us got it too and agreed. Perhaps it should be removed from the menu unless they can prepare it better.

    Worst experience ever! Had a reservation for 4 people. Waited 15 mins at the desk until I had to hunt down the bartender to seat us. Looking around you could tell there were a lot of angry customers. Zero staff . Maybe one waiter. Waited 30 mins for drinks that never showed up so we left ! The table next to us did the same . Will NEVER go back !

    This was my second visit to Sala. The food is excellent and the menu is very interesting. However, I arrived on time for a 7:15 reservation and waited approximately 20 minutes for my table. During this time, no staff person even acknowledged my presence. I realize the restaurant was busy and may have been short-staffed, but this was a bit much. I had requested a table close to the musicians and ended up sitting at the bar. It was fine, but not what I had asked for and there were empty tables in that section. Overall, it was not a completely satisfactory experience. I will give Sala another try, though, based on my pleasant experience the first time I visited.

    I can’t speak to the food because we left after waiting 10 minutes to get seated despite having a reservation and there being open tables (there was no hostess), another 15 minutes for our waiter to even acknowledge our existence (and only because I flagged him down), 30 minutes for him to take our orders (again, I had to flag him down), and we still didn’t even have our first drinks after 45 minutes. The people to one side of us had a similar experience and were calling other restaurants to try to get a table, and the folks on the other side who had already eaten couldn’t leave because they couldn’t get their check. The waiter spilled more drinks on the ground than made it customers, and he spilled water all over my wife when he finally brought us some. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

    They were very under staffed. The servers were literally running around the restaurant. The food was very good. The live music was nice and not too loud.
