Welcome to Sago at Sea Palms, our on-site full-service restaurant and bar. Named after the native species of palms (Sago), we are open daily for lunch, dinner, and cocktails to resort guests, members, and the local community.

Sago is a home-away-from-home that welcomes all and offers seasonal menus by Executive Chef Deke Reichardt that provide a fresh take on local flavors, outdoor dining, and contemporary cocktails.

We had 12 for dinner last night. The food was very good but one of our group did not get his dinner until we were almost done dining. Rashada was excellent in serving so I have to blame the kitchen for the delay. We enjoyed being outside and special of shrimp was great as was my salmon. My husband ordered his on rice instead of the grits and was easily accommodated.

We had 10 for dinner last night. Although I arrived later than others, my dinner was served very quickly. Rashada did a great job as usual. We missed interacting with Daniel Hull, who is no longer employed at Sago. I heard that there is now some connection with Hilton but would like to get more information.

We had a smaller group of friends on Wednesday night than usual. My salmon was perfect as usual. Pork belly special was okay, but my husband was not excited about it. Rashada provided excellent service as usual. We all had a chance to meet the new head chef, Bryan. Loved talking to him and getting his background as a cook, a trumpeter, and former marine band member. Looking forward to this weekend's Couples Club Championship. My husband and I enjoy our golf and club membership at Sea Palms so much!

Food was well prepared and enjoyed by all. Service much improved with food arriving at same time. Ava did a great job being attentive to our needs. Appreciate the the visit by Clark, Cissy and Chef Bryan keeping us updated on the clubs progress.

We had 19 people for dinner outside at Sago last night. Although food preparation took a little longer than usual, we were treated to some complimentary champagne. Despite the large group, Rashada did a great job serving us as usual. We also enjoy having management stop by to chat with us and announce the upcoming new head chef. Thank you, Daniel Hull and David Arrington. My salmon is still my favorite and always delicious. The steak special was very good based on group comments. I also really enjoyed the scallops special from last week and hope it is put on a new menu! WE LOVE SAGO.

We had the Sunday brunch for my birthday and it was excellent! Courtney did a great job taking care of us.

We had 17 for dinner in our group. The ambience got better after the sun set and was not in our eyes outside on the front patio. under the overhang. Still prefer outside though. I got the scallops special last night instead of my favorite salmon dinner. The scallops special was delicious with the rice and roasted brussels sprouts. Rashada provided excellent service and always enjoy having Daniel Hull stop by to say hi. It was a great, fun night at Sago.

We had 12 for dinner and changed to an earlier time and from Outside to Inside. Prefer eating outside for the view and it is quieter, but weather turned cooler. Moved to earlier time because many of us wanted to watch our preferred Presidential candidate on Fox News being interviewed! Rashada got us in and out quickly to help out. We also enjoyed our table visit from Daniel Hull. Only one suggestion on the food is to make the side of fruit more interesting with some berries. Otherwise, my salmon was delicious as usual and love the fried Okra.
