El Sage Room at Harvey's ha sido un lugar de interés Tahoe desde su apertura en 1947. El The Sage Room es un asador con una decoración inspirada en las películas del oeste. La decoración del Sage Room incluye originales lámparas típicas de los nativos americanos (que fueron ofrecidas al Harvey's por la tribu Washoe), una barra original y vigas talladas a mano, que eran parte de la cabaña de madera original que albergaba al Harvey's en 1944. El Sage Room sirve aperitivos y ensaladas elaborados junto a la mesa, filetes de Angus Negro, aves, carne de res, cordero, filetes de res Wellington y marisco. La carne es malísima, nada que ver con un steakhouse y esta carísimo pera lo que es. Lugar pretencioso.

Pedi in Ribeye steak, y me trajeron cualquier otro corte de carne ( no estaba malo) pero no era Ribeye. No tenía “eye” y tampoco Spinalis! Era un pedazo de carne de otro lugar del animal!! Si vas a cobrar 60 dólares por un corte de carne hay que entregar el producto correcto!! Se avisó al mesero al respecto de nuestra disconformidad pero hizo caso omiso!

Very beautiful restaurant. The views are incredible. The food prices were a little much. A steak with a single carrot wasn’t worth the &75. The service was excellent and attentive.

Rachel is amazing........personal, professional, welcoming. Would hire her in an instant. Anthony is an excellent server........knowledgeable, attentive, never misses a beat. Sad to see chair and/or table damage to walls not repaired. Also sad to see table service carts are gone. New chef might benefit from the value of Sage Room's history. All this said, understandable that decades of tradition may not last forever, however Caesar Salad made table-side will never match what is made in the kitchen. Nice job done by all. We will definitely return, as we have done since 1957. Thank you for yet another wonderful birthday celebration.

Outstanding service. We have been here many times and every time the service is wonderful, the food is always great and the views, ambience and cleanliness is second to none. Every time we come to the Lake and have friends with us, We always bring them here because we can be sure it will be a great experience for them.

New chef reduced tablesdide service massively!! And for a steak house there was only 5 or so options. This place has lost the romance it once had. The wine list was also both weird and overpriced. Been going for 20 years but sadly won’t return

The crab cake was the best I’ve ever had full of crab chunks. The butternut squash bisque was creamy and delicious. The filet mignon was perfect and the sides of potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach were perfect. It’s a must do on each of our trips. The only thing that would have made it perfect was not having to listen to the conversation of the table next to us. We’ll be back!

We have never been disappointed in our meals or experience at Sage!!! It is the BEST! The servers are outstanding and go above and beyond expectations and the views at sunset are spectacular
