   Booked it for our Wedding Anniversary only because we wanted to try something different, rather than a proper dining place. The garden was not as we thought it would be. It’s a small glass box with artificial flowers. When we arrived downstairs, we were not even greeted, although there were 3 staff members standing around Reception area and we were the only customers there. After standing there for a couple of minutes, waiting to be acknowledged, we had to ask them how to get to the Secret Garden. The staff in the Secret Garden wasn’t friendly either and very slow. The food was ok, however avoid the dish with steak chunks and caramelised onions on a flatbread (forgot the exact name, but that’s the description), as the meat is very greasy and tough! Also, although we appreciated it was more like a bar with snacks and small plates, rather than proper meals place, and the menu was small, it was disappointing to find out that they didn’t have the only dessert on the menu. I’ve ordered tea with my dessert. They brought me the tea, and only a few minutes later informed that the dessert wasn’t available. If I knew it before, I wouldn’t have bothered ordering the tea. And finally, when I booked the place, I was asked what was the occasion for booking, and I indicated that it was Wedding Anniversary. Normally when you indicate that, you expect some kind of gesture from the staff, like a wee cake, etc . At least that’s what I came across in other places. But here no gesture, no acknowledgement. What’s the point of asking for this information then? Would never be back and wouldn’t recommend anyone..

   From the moment you arrive to the minute you leave this place is 5 stars all the way. Fantastic attentive staff, great vibe and buzz about this place, both cocktail bar and rooftop bar garden are fantastic, great location and fantastic value for money, highly recommend this place and I shall definitely return and shall also look to try the sister hotel in Edinburgh.

   This place has been really hyped up recently and it’s hard to find space for bookings particularly on a Saturday. I was expecting great things and it just didn’t deliver. It’s just like a green house with plastic flowers. Booked a table for four and was sat at a table that was clearly meant for 2. One of my friends had to get up to let one of the servers in the cupboard. We asked to be seated at a different table as there were others more suitable that looked available. They said we couldn’t move as these tables were already booked. To our annoyance it was a group of 3 who were allocated one of the tables which had a lot more space than we had. Staff weren’t great and just didn’t seem to want to help us. We asked where we could provide feedback and we were told to write on trip advisor. We had 1 drink and then moved downstairs to the ground floor. Service there was so much better and the drink selection is also much better.

   Booked Sacred Garden for drinks with friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our time, lovely environment, great service & good value. Highly recommended.

   First visit won't be back. Cheap plastic Ivy and flower arrangements, glass tables which needed a good polish and the one we were seated at was smashed 😲. No draught beer so had bottle of peroni which was warm my cocktail was nice tho but almost £20 for these 2 drinks was not great. Didn't have food so can't comment but would not Allow me to post review without rating food! Would not recommend

   Absolutely stunning venue, amazing service we were never left waiting for someone to come to our table. No issues with cleanliness/toilets either. Cannot find a flaw with my experience.

   The ambiance of the Sacred Garden is lovely but the prices aren’t value for money. A cocktail that comes in a small wine glass that can be finished in less than two gulps for £12 is insane. Over £7 for a pint is also a joke. We had planned to spend the evening here but at £20 for two drinks we left after one round. A real shame as the venue itself is very nice.

   Disappointing visit as you are in a glass box and not outside. There was a choice of three rose wines, one not available which was a shame. Food was really good - we had the charcuterie and cheese boards

    Great rooftop bar nice vibe with great food and drinks thought it would be very hot and like a greenhouse but the air con was great and made it very comfortable
