   Another excellent meal here. I just wish we’d been able to try the sea-cuturie! Hopefully it will be available the next time we go back…which will definitely be the next time we visit Baltimore :)

   Had a reservation for 6:30 (Sunday) and on arrival was told they had no tables and did not know when our table would be ready. It was 45 minutes late. After ordering, 3 of us got food but they told us on delivering those 3 entrees that they ran out of the pork (4th) so I had to wait to reorder and get food while the rest of the party had to eat or let theirs get cold. So while the food is excellent, not honoring reservations and then not having menu items (and not knowing that until after delivering the rest to table) is just a bad experience. It’s truly a shame as the space is great, serving staff try hard but seemingly has management issues.

   Our waitress Sharon, the ambience, cornball game and food were all incredible. We will definitely be back

   Food and establishment was amazing, but the wait on the drinks and food was very much so long. I think they were possibly understaffed. We had a reservation at 7, and didn’t even get our drinks until almost 8. I don’t feel any of it was the servers fault, he was running all over (had table everywhere), they just were really busy.

   First time visit after hearing rave reviews from family and friends. The location and ambience are definitely top notch. Unfortunately three things were off putting. First, We had reservations but didn’t realize that outdoor seating would still require a 2 hour wait. Secondly, when we were escorted upstairs we asked to at least sit closer to a window and were told we could but it would be a wait due to the server having too many tables, so consolation table it is. Thirdly, I had my eye on a cocktail but we were informed they didn’t have it…that wasn’t really a big deal because it happens. However the issue was more about how long it took our entrees to arrive. The server did check in and apologize for the delay which is always good but doesn’t help when the person brining the food basically drops it on the table and makes you feel like you are a bother. We also asked why the oyster prices were so exaggerated. Overall , Rye Street is made for visitors to Baltimore in terms of the food options and price. I would only visit again if I could go during off hours.

   It was the first 80 degree day of the year and my husband and I just wanted brunch with a view. It was a gorgeous view indeed, and the food was good. We had the biscuits and pork belly tots as starters. I had the steak and eggs, and subbed fries for my potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked but needed more seasoning. My eggs and fries were delicious. My husband enjoyed his fried chicken sandwich and loaded potatoes. The pork belly was a bit dry and the tots needed seasoning but those biscuits were delicious! The person who seated us had a nasty attitude and our server seemed to disappear for long periods of time out of sight, so service could use some improvement. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

   Our waiter was great. He made sure we were well taken care of, and I had my granddaughter out for dinner for the first time and he was patient with my daughter and our table. He brought out the baby's food first so it could cool while we were waiting on the adult food. It was the perfect temp by the time our food arrived. We had the Parker House Rolls which my son left me none of, but I assume they were wonderful. We also had the old bay honey wings, and they were sticky messy goodness. The pork belly and tots were okay but not my favorite. The pork belly was a bit tough. My son had the frites and they were delicious, I did manage to get a taste of those. My daughter and I had the salmon. It was okay but it was a bit overcooked and under seasoned, but the scallion-caper vinaigrette was very good. The desserts were quite tasty as well. My favorite was the salted caramel bread pudding it was yum. My son's favorite was the brownie sundae. It was also good. It was rich and can be enjoyed with nuts or no nuts. We opted for no nuts. Overall, it was a good meal.

    The service was not up to par (server and food). Was slightly disappointed however I’ll come back for another try.
