   A really hot day, so not perfect for either the restaurant or us, but we had a lovely afternoon despite that. Some fans outside would have helped move the air around. Thanks for a great time, Rye at Tallis!

   Servers were lovely and attentive. Views are amazing and the food was tasty and well presented. We’ll definitely be back!

   We have a beautiful lunch Served by delightful waitstaff who couldn’t do enough to make you feel special. Food and drinks sensational. The only criticism was it was very hot inside even with air conditioning on. In saying that it was 38 degrees outside. Overall recommend to all scenery is beautiful also.

   We have been there many times and loved it. This visit there were 6 of us. There is no longer any table service. We asked for an extra placing and it never arrived. We had to ask twice before it came. We had to keep getting our own water. The menu has been stripped back to a tasting plate, fries and pizzas. The fries arrived promptly and were delicious. The pizzas took 90 minutes and when they arrived they were cooked on top and wet and doughy inside and underneath. We were underwhelmed by the service which did not care we were frustrated with our late meals. By the time they arrived we were annoyed and they were largely inedible. We sent them back they but they weren’t any better. Our vegan diner - we listed them on our online booking - had nothing to choose from and her compromised pizza was inedible and we refused to oay for that one. We did pay for the rest but will never go again. Such a shame as it’s a lovely place.

   We really enjoyed our lunch at Tallis. I just felt they were a short staffed. Plates weren’t cleared drinks and food were slow to come out. The staff did their best and were lovely but there was clearly not enough staff

   I would have preferred for all of the order to be delivered to the table at the same time so that all members of the party can eat together. This did not happen . The restaurant seemed to only be able to cook 2 pizzas at a time. We specifically ordered several different pizzas to cater for the dietary requirements of our party. They also seemed to forget one pizza in our order and we were waiting over an hour for our order. Also this restaurant does not have decaf coffee. The views from the restaurant a great.

   Staff were incredibly helpful. We were running 50 mins late but they were still welcoming and gracious. I am vegan and they were very accommodating by creating a custom pizza for me which was delicious. The views are outstanding. Loved it.
