Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again.     Our server, Carlos, and the people that helped him are also courteous and knowledgeable. The food was simply melt in your mouth. Delicious! Lots of interesting spices, and sauces to try. We would go back in a heartbeat!

    We booked Rumi's for a girl's night out and it was the perfect choice! They were extremely busy, so we were smart to have made a reservation. We had a short wait and then were seated... outside. At first we were worried, as it was cold outside. However, the setup with heat lamps and a small fireplace made for a cozy and intimate setting. The service from the wait staff, led by Carlos, was impeccable! He was attentive, gave good recommendations and made our visit extra special. We had the Chicken Barg, the seabass and the lamb chops. We'll definitely come back to Rumi's!

    Absolutely fabulous decor, food and drinks. The kabob melted in your mouth. The salad was absolutely delicious and dressed perfectly. Hummus was delicious and creamy. The sea bass blew us away. Absolutely cooked to perfection and so flavorful. This has got to be the best restaurant in Atlanta. We were all impressed with how flavorful everything was.

    Food was amazing as always. Service was great. And they were very sweet to bring my dad a birthday dessert. But oh my god was it loud. I was hoarse after walking out from shouting throughout the meal. When there are so many people packed inside the restaurant, does the music really need to be blasting? I brought my parents, who are elderly, which I would not do again
