Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. Lovely restaurant with amazing food. My drink was so good that I ordered three!! The Spin me Around cocktail is delicious. Try it.

Have been multiple times. Last night was for Valentine’s dinner. We had a table for two against a window—perfect, we had light and were away from the “energy” of the entrance and bar—and make no mistake, Rummi’s is energetic! There are a lot of people, a lot of movement, and with that comes volume. But that is part of Rummi’s. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate spot, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a fun night with wonderful food and service, you’ve found it! Food/service? I’ve never had anything less than excellent food here (I gravitate to the sea bass and a date milkshake for desert). Also, I’ve never had less than stellar service. Definitely a great spot for a fun night and wonderful food!

GREAT service and GREAT food!! We wished the seating could have been not SO close, but we understand the high cost of space at Colony Square.

The food and service were both great. The tables are a bit close together so you can hear your neighbors conversation clearly, but that’s my only complaint. The food was amazing. We had the lamb kebab and the seabass. They were both great!

Our server was Laura, she was amazing and provided great recommendations. Her attitude and attention to detail was phenomenal! I will recommend Rumi as a place to dine.
