Ruex Cafe and Bar is an all-day dining destination welcoming guests from morning through to late night and offers a unique and refined blend of a café and restaurant. Start the day with our fiery Pork Belly Eggs Benedict or Halloumi Avocado Toast, an elevated rendition of the classic avocado toast. At 4pm, come try our unique Chicken Supreme or Miso Maple Salmon and end your meal on a sweet note with the signature London Fog Creme Brûlée — light, flavourful and adored for a reason.

DINNER WITH SANTA! On November 30th, December 8th and December 14th come along to Ruex Cafe and Bar from 5pm to 8pm for a fun, festive time with Santa and enjoy dinner with your family and friends!⁣ Enjoy a fun, magical time and get in the spirit for Christmas! Children and babies will get to meet Santa and get a professional photo. All visitors will dine with Santa and enjoy a delicious Ruex dinner. Special for this event, Ruex will have a kids menu that will delight all! Our full menu will also be available for diners. Ticket price is not inclusive of dinner. Dinner with Santa was phenomenal! Santa was engaging, attentive and kind. The kids and holiday menu was great addition for the evening. Highly recommend this event

We dined in for 'Dinner with Santa' again this year and both the kids and adults enjoyed the experience! Food & drinks were delicious, great service as always, and Santa was just so adorable and interactive with the kids! Thanks for a great time!

Had a great dining experience the staff and food was amazing! The cauliflower bites are the best I’ve ever had. We went for dinner with Santa it is such an amazing magical experience.

We started with having a hard time finding the restaurant in the complex ( from out of town) The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is “ok” nothing special. We ordered an appetizer and drinks which came quickly but our entrees ( two burgers and pork belly) took FOREVER over an hour. The food was ok the burgers were good but not exceptional the pork belly was not good at 38$ it should have been great. Not at all busy 7:30 on a Sunday evening, two other table having hot cocoa, not clear as to why it took so long to get our food? I do hope our experience was a one off? A bad night? I was excited to try a new restaurant.

Service was great and the restaurant is very nice, but I have been there three times since they opened, and everytime I go, the food is disappointing in some way. All of their dishes look very good, but taste ok. I can’t say they taste bad, but they don’t taste good either, especially if you consider the price. In my most recent experience, the salmon dish was overcooked and the flavours were not balanced nor linked together, the composition of their dish (flavours, textures) did not make a lot of sense… My friend had the steak, which was good, but the potatoes that came with it tasted off and the server told us they just use butter and salt. If butter tastes like this, I can assure you it’s not safe to eat anymore…

Food and service was great, was seated in the bar/lounge and the music was a bit loud so hard to have a conversation unless sitting side by side.

We We’re here at Happy Hour and ordered 5 appetizers and they are all very delicious and service was great too.

Food and service was excellent - presentation of the food was next level - will be back! The "only" comment is that the music was a bit loud and "rappy". :) For us middle-aged people :)
