Took a good friend for her December birthday. Lunch was at 1:00 and we had the place mostly to ourselves. I guess we missed the lunch rush. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious! Bloody Mary’s were over the top and tasty! Highly recommend and will definitely return again.

Unfortunately, our work party had a very poor experience for our party of 12 last night. The service was extremely slow (second drinks never came), and almost everyone had their meal served to them incorrectly. NY Strip's were mixed up with other peoples Fillet's, rare cooking orders were mixed up with well-done. One persons pork shank was sent back for being cold. This person also spent the entire meal not eating while waiting for another one to be returned -- only to be comp'd a meal-to-go at the end when the server realized her meal was never returned to her. The to-go order was also wrong hahaha (she ordered fries with a steak and received mashed potatoes). The whole experience was very disappointing considering the price point.

Had reservation for 6 last Monday night. Arrived to find a note in the door saying they were closed on Monday’s. Just checked reservations and there is availability for next Monday. So appears they have not updated their hours and are taking reservations for times they are closed.

Biscuits and gravy came out lukewarm, sent it back. Second time also lukewarm. Breakfast sandwichs had a full croissant on top and on bottom. Maybe someone in the kitchen was new. As more people arrived, the noise was too loud to hold a conversation especially with the live music.

Royal in the Ridge was a lovely experience. Food and service were excellent and the ambience was lovely. Live music was great but could have been a tad quieter. Overall, an awesome experience!

Not a lot of effort by the staff. Brie was good. Everything else wasn’t worth the cost or effort to drive up the hill.

Made a reservation on open table received confirmation and all. However, when we arrived the staff informed us the restaurant had been reserved for a large event and we only had 1 hour to eat. I had reserved for a birthday and had planned to take our time, but we were rushed out. The reservation has been in for a week. The restaurant should have called to inform us of this event if they couldn't accommodate us. This was poor service and extremely frustrating.

Pleasantly surprised and impressed! Usually have hard time finding a quality date place that has high quality food and and also at a decent price, (not cheap but also not crazy like a lot of the newer places have been. The pizzas are all good, baked brie was awesome, the two pastas dishes we had were great, with large portions. loved the live music on saturday night atmosphere was warm and inviting!
