   Three of us enjoyed our beautiful Mon lady evening meal at the Royal Oak with a great atmosphere all around. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and service was very quick. The food was quite good and pricewise quite normal for that area of Melbourne.

   My wife and I were recommended the Royal Oak and we were not disappointed. The service was very good without being overbearing. Our two meals were spot on and worth the price. The French red wine I had was exceptional as was my wife’s cocktail. All up a lovely night.

   Menu was full of surprises not the usual pub food. All 6 of tried different dishes and found the food amazing. Service was spot on, not too rushed but attentive. We travelled from Brighton to have dinner with our son, who lives locally and are disappointed there is nothing similar in our suburb.

   No coffee machine seemed odd to us and also we waited for our food for over an hour and after almost finishing it ( not quite) we were told we had to leave in 15 mins. No time to consider desert or drinks etc Everything else was very good. Lovely staff very tasty food

   This is my favourite family and friends Sunday lunch in Melbourne. The service is warm and well informed. The food is always exciting and delicious. Wonderful.

   Great pub - the food was superb and the service friendly and knowledgable. I had the lamb shoulder while my friend had venison wellington both of which was of excellent quality. Can highly recommend.

    This is now my fourth time to Royal Oak, I have nothing but praise for this pub. The staff, management and food are excellent. I have been with groups of 2, 4, and 6 everyone has enjoyed it. The specials change often too which is nice. The only thing I would love them to have is coffee, that would make it 100% instead of 99%
