This is a wonderful newcomer to Brentford, and as they’re settling in we’re seeing the menu evolve with the seasons, and some great new dishes. This time perfectly cooked octopus to start, and as a main delicious hake on a butter bean stew with cavolo nero. My daughter had the lamb with pearly barley risotto, another triumph as we swapped and shared. Don’t miss out on their fabulous food.

Such a delightful new addition to the eating offer in this part of West London. Bright, airy, super clean and comfortable. The restaurant wasn’t very full and I think this affected the atmosphere and ambience a little but with a full house and perhaps slightly dimmer lighting this would be spot on perfect. The service was exemplary - polite, efficient and subtle. The food was delicious - unfussy, beautifully cooked and presented; just the right amount of variety to pick a delightful seasonal option from the starters, mains and desserts. Had a beautiful glass of Custoza to accompany the meal and finished with a marvellous affogato. Very good value for the quality of the food on offer. Really looking forward to returning. Would highly recommend.

Our first dining experience at the Rottura. There was a relaxed feeling for a Wednesday evening in there. They made the potions just right. The pasta with prawns, garlic and chilli was exquisite and my girls raved about the ragu with pasta, how they could taste the ‘wine’ in the ragu sauce. We all loved the home made tiramisu and chocolate tart with blackberry sorbet. I would return to try more of the menu. The service was a little slow, but all in all, a nice way to end an evening.

Outstanding is a perfect word for Rottura. We were welcomed and not rushed by two friendly ladies. The menu had a sharing concept with large and small plates. There was a good selection of vegetarian and meat/fish dishes. We shared one of each small plates to start with. The burrata and beetroot salad was fresh and creamy. The tender-stem broccolli had a light crispy batter and a smooth aioli paired with it. The favourite amongst our guests, was the chargrilled octopus with the red pepper sauce. It was so delicious that we ordered some bread so that we could mop up the sauce. But when the foccacia bread came out literally steaming fresh from the oven, there were gasps around the table as the pillowy soft wedges were devoured. For the mains we shared, mushroom risotto, prawn spaghettini, hispi cabbage and salmon with vegetables. Everyone loved the prawn spaghettini the most, followed closely behind by the mushroom risotto. Lastly we had the tiramisu which was just like nonna makes. I would highly recommend this new family run restaurant. It has a lot of heart and soul and you leave with a full and satisfied belly. Our wallets were also satisfied with reasonably priced dishes. Approx £35 per head including wine. The only feedback we would give is that the lighting should be dimmed/softer for evening service, as it felt more canteen like rather than cosy restaurant. However that was a minor factor and did not impact our overall enjoyment and satisfaction.

On this occasion we attended the Supper Club, Farm to Table series which was the celebration of meat; what a celebration it was too. From the ambience, meeting new people to the celebration of the meal itself, wine paired beautifully to each course and each dish and wine explained the evening was a triumph and we felt as if we were part of the family with big plates at amazing quality, phenomenally cooked food. Well done ladies 👏🏻
