A Rare Steakhouse, Well Done.

Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. Great service. Food vs other top steakhouses was good. There are many better steakhouses and many worse. However the staff and management on Xmas day was fabulous and based upon that alone I will be back.

It was the perfect place for a festive dinner. The food was delicious! Jeff was our server and he was wonderful. The ambiance was that of a special place for dining ! I would absolutely come back very soon . A great place to celebrate special occasions!

Nice looking resturant. Hosts weren’t very friendly at the door. Sour faces didn’t seem happy to be there. The menu wasn’t extremely extensive, but also had zero descriptions of the food. For example: Salmon Picatta. Basically chicken piccata except salmon. However, came with asparagus and the menu didn’t say that also came with tomatoes on it. The menu also didn’t say that. I wasn’t about to ask the server what everything actually was and came with so I went with what I was familiar with. I thought the salmon was delicious though! Chopped salad also good, but not what your typical chopped salad is. Once again the menu had zero description of what was in the salad so we were winging it. My husband said the medallions had zero flavoring so he was not impressed. Had a great extra dirty martini so A+ on the drinks! Also made a note on the reservation we were celebrating 3 birthdays for us ladies and they didn’t even mention it, give you a piece of cake…nothing so that was disappointing. For the price I don’t think it’s worth it to not know what you are actually ordering unless you ask about everything on the menu. Would we go back? No, but I guess it’s worth a try for a nice, clean, new place but be ready to make sure you ask for exactly what everything comes with so you aren’t surprised.

This was our fist time at this restaurant. The food was excellent. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. The chopped salad was very special, it had hearts of palm and other ingredients not usually served in a chopped salad. We were greeted upon arrival and the manager stopped by to check on us. Overall it was a great experience.

We had a wonderful dinner, prices excellent, food was luscious, lobster GOT was awesome, service was so attentive and not intrusive, I will go back!

Great service and food, plentiful portions. Not inexpensive but worth the investment. Will definitely return, great addition to Wheeling’s restaurant scene.
