As the oldest public house in Sandhurst, dating back to the 18th century, the Rose & Crown is a part of the town's history as well as a lively community hub in the home of the world famous Sandhurst Military Academy. It was the first time we had been to the Rose &. Crown. We had the Sunday roast which was excellent and the service was very good. We will certainly be returning and would recommend to friends and family.

Took 3 grandchildren for lunch. Food arrived quickly, drinks were held back until food arrived as requested. Very helpful landlady. A great experience all round.

What a disappointment compared with our visit in the summer. Service was non existent. Forgot some of our order, had to ask for condiments. Male server was very scruffy and surly. Service last time was super friendly and attentive. Barmaid couldn’t even get an order for 2 drinks right. Food average. Sadly won’t be back.

A fantastic Sunday lunch. Chicken for me this time .... beef for my son. Top quality meal ..... the vegetables are something else .... really tasty and special. The roast potatoes also set the meal apart from standard Sunday lunches ..... fluffy centres for every spud. Chicken is large and very tender. Brilliant meal and very reasonably priced at less than £14.

There were 4 adults in our party,we all had a sunday roast. It was delicious and very good value. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. There were 3 desserts ordered and they were excellent. We certainly be back . The pub is also dog friendly,who get a doggie dinner.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, the roast dinners for all 3 of us were outstanding, bigger than they look too at an amazing price. Made my dad's father's day Will be coming back for another roast very soon
