Brunch menu was a good variety. The avocado toast was very tasty. Others had eggs to order & were perfect. The potatoes are well worth the carbs.

Disappointing Experience – Burnt, Bland, Greasy, and Poor Service I had high hopes for Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen, but the food was a major letdown. The Brussels sprouts were burnt to a bitter crisp, the Au Gratin dish was completely bland, and the Butter Wilted Spinach was both greasy and flavorless. The pizza was mediocre, with a sauce that tasted straight from a can, and the BBQ chicken had a mushy texture. Also, the noise level on Saturday nights is extreme. For the prices they charge, the quality should be much better. Service was also inattentive. With so many better options in Uptown Charlotte, I won’t be returning.

The food was excellent. Service was excellent and staff was incredibly helpful. We needed wheelchair help and they were very accommodating.

Food - very good, but small serving size for the price. Service - only fair. Started when we arrived at hostess stand upstairs for our reserved table - hostesses were all indifferent at best, if not outright unfriendly. We asked for a booth and were told one was not available, although booths in the room remained open during our entire meal. Our server - Ricky - was ok, but a bit too casual and we felt rushed at times, especially at the end of the meal, when he stood right next to the table after bringing our check waiting for us to provide a credit card, and then waited while I signed the credit card slip. I've never had that happen in a restaurant before.

A member of our party ordered a fish entree and it was an extremely small portion. She should have been made aware of the portion size by the waiter when she ordered it so that’s he could have made an informed decision on whether to order it or not.
