Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen is thrilled for its first expansion since 2012, opening at The Bowl at Ballantyne with more than 30 years of culinary tradition and craftsmanship under its belt. Rooster's is known for elevated simplicity with dishes that allow seasonal, often locally sourced ingredients to shine. With this location, Rooster's debuts a refreshed approach to interior design with a nod to the outdoors and the recreation of fly fishing. Food was good. Was surprised in the consistency for it to be the first week. Everything seemed to be in line with other locations as well. Was pleased to see pizza on the menu since removed in South Park.

It was our first experience at Ballantyne location - been to Southport and Nobles in Winston- Salem. Looking bed the both. Enjoyed after dinner - having a glass of wine at the kitchen’s bar and watching the kitchen in action!! Quite fascinating and somewhat dramatic.

Love Rooster's and so glad for this new location in Ballantyne! The food is excellent. We love ordering multiple sides, especially the au gratin potatoes, corn, beets and so many others. Staff is wonderful but not up to SouthPark location expectations yet...but it's only the first week. We know they'll get there and look forward to enjoying the amazing roasted chicken, scallops and other beautifully crafted dishes more frequently. One of these days we'll try the burger and salads.

I have been stalking this spot to open at the Bowl so when my family gathered for the holidays I thought it would be a good pre-holiday option, and it was. It was good but for some reason my expectations were more b/c of my stalking. Food all cooked well. I’m particular so when I saw the middle of the table was dirty with a sticky wet mark, on the third day being open, and the waitress placed a paper coaster over it instead of wiping it clean I was kinda turned off. I may go back to sit at the fire at the beautiful outdoor patio.

Appetizers were very good. All 3 of us felt that our entrées were mediocre. The coordination of the pizza arriving with the other food definitely needs improvement. The service was very good.

A wonderful time at Rooster's as always! Service and food were exceptional. Vanessa took good care of us and the hanger steak is still the best! Thanks for coming to Ballantyne!
