Rooster & the Till is an award-winning, modern American neighborhood restaurant in Seminole Heights. With an always-evolving menu & eclectic beverage program, it's perfect for adventurous diners looking to be challenged by new ingredients and who expect high attention to service.

We offer 2 different reservation options each evening, seats at one of our tables or at our kitchen counter, barstools that overlook the kitchen. The full menu, including tasting, is available anywhere within the restaurant.

We'd love to plan a tailor-made dinner experience for your group! Due to our small size, we are limited to large parties of 25 or less during service hours. For full space buyouts, we are limited to 60 guests for sit-down dinners and 90 for larger cocktail hour-style parties, where we can offer buffet style dining or passed hors’d’oevres.

Nightly Kitchen Counter Reservation

Reserve high-top seating at the Chef's Counter overlooking the kitchen and get a firsthand look at every dish as it's prepared. All reservations are limited to 2 hours unless otherwise arranged. *Note, this is not a reservation for our front bar and is not included in happy hour.* ACCESS INFO: Please note this is a reservation for high stools that may be a challenge for those who have access needs.

Reserve seating for New Year's Eve! We are offering a special 5-course New Year's Eve dinner for $155 per guest. Your $25 per person deposit paid through Open Table will go towards your bill that evening and can be refunded if given at least 12 hours notice. Due to limited seating all reservations are limited to 2 hours max. If you have any dietary restrictions please reach out before booking, night-of substitutions will not be possible. (813-374-8940). Our a la carte menu will not be offered on New Year's Eve.

One word … Vindaloo If everything else sucked (not even close) the Vindaloo dish was about as good of a dish I’ve ever eaten in my life. Great experience as usual!!

I love this restaurant but this experience had some issues. First of all, 3 1/2 hours for six courses is way too long. The food was mixed. The persimmons, ravioli, and panettone were all great. The prawn was also excellent but seriously one shrimp that I waited a half hour+ for. The pork collar was very tough. I don’t think I was the only one who thought that as I saw a lot of dishes going back to the kitchen with half eaten collars. I will definitely return but I don’t think I would go back for another guest chef dinner.

The food was excellent and the drinks were good. It was tough to find from the street because signage was lacking and it was dark. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable.

We were visiting Tampa and the Restaurant came highly recommended by a friend that is a Chef/ in the biz. We got a counter seat to watch the action. We picked a five course meal. They serve family style and to pace. Not overly pretentious. The opener and closer stood out although everything was excellent. The Hamachi and Pumpkin Panna Cotta will be hard to forget.

We had an amazing time (as always)! Service was spectacular and food was top tier. We still can’t get over how phenomenal the Cobia Collar and Short Rib dishes were!!
