Rooh Columbus is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it could not have been a more perfect evening. Even though the restaurant was buzzing with activity, the service was incredibly attentive and personal, making us feel like honored guests the entire night. The ambience strikes a flawless balance between understated and elegant—a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage beautifully for a special occasion. Now, onto the food—where do I even begin? Rooh takes iconic Indian dishes and reimagines them with an innovative twist that leaves your taste buds singing. Highlights of our meal included the samosa and sweet potato chaat, a must-try for its bold yet harmonious blend of flavors and textures, and the biryani, which was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and a standout dish. The pinwheels were an unexpected delight, as gorgeous in presentation as they were satisfying in taste. Across the board, the dishes were a feast for the eyes and the palate, with flavor combinations that showcased warm spices in ways both familiar and fresh. A special shoutout to our server, Debjani, who was the true star of the evening. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured every detail of our meal was extraordinary from start to finish. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of magic to the experience. Rooh Columbus is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for outstanding food, impeccable service, and a setting that feels both sophisticated and welcoming, this is your spot. We’ll be back soon to relive the magic!

Rooh is beautifully decorated, seating is comfy, the menu is informative, and the staff was so kind! I ordered the stuffed eggplant which was amazing. My server was quick to help when I informed her I'm vegan. Overall, perfect evening out!

Came here for an anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and our server was very enthusiastic upbeat and attentive. Cocktails were excellent and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely adding to our date night rotation.

Firstly I would like to start by saying I love Rooh and have been many times. We were greeted warmly and given an option for tables. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately this is the first time I was not happy with a dish. The entree, short rib curry with roasted winter vegetables was overpriced, two tiny pieces of tough beef, 2 carrots and 2 brussel sprouts and lots of sauce for $32! Not good at all and I told the waiter. I could not finish my tiny piece of meat. It was so tough which made it hard to cut with a knife. I expected better from Rooh. Now the positive, the chicken biryani was wonderful and very flavourful. The chickpea curry is a small dish but one of my favourite.

Four of us shared 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and had plenty of food. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The ambience is warm and lovely. Our favorite Indian food in our fair city.
