Roberto's has been serving the Ocean Ilse Beach area since 1985. Its a second generation family business now being run by Chef/Owner Dave Gundrum and Executive Chef Ryan Duganne. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The menu is diverse from signature seafood dishes like Salmon Rockefeller or Grouper Saint Thomas to classic Italian dishes including Chicken Piccata, Veal Parmigiana and Homemade Lasagna. For the steak lover hand cut Filet Mignon, Ribeye and Berkshire Duroc Pork Chops prepared on our 1600 degree flame broiler. Appetizers include homemade Cheese Crab Dip, Ahi Tuna, Bang Bang Shrimp and more. To finish your night our Creme Brulee is world class.

We had the grouper special and salmon with dill sauce, both dishes outstanding! Service was prompt even though restaurant was very busy on New Years Eve.

Dining at Robertos is always a pleasant experience. The food is excellent and and the environment is relaxed. You mostly likely will always get a visit from the owner who will spend the time asking about and listening to your needs and feedback as well as adding to your experience. This is our go to restaurant when we just want to enjoy our meal and have have a pleasant conversation. The menu is fairly expansive with a variety of daily specials as well.

As a shared appetizer we ordered Brussels Sprouts, which we had enjoyed on a previous visit. They were served, under cooked and tough. When we complained, the server took them back to the kitchen and brought us a new order, which was more enjoyable. I ordered a signature Roberto's Martini. It was served without the blue cheese stuffed olives. When I mentioned that to our server, he brought me two skewers. My Ceaser Salad was nice. I ordered Shrimp Ala Vodka, and it was pleasant. Others ordered Chicken Parmesan, and The Italian Feast. entrees were unremarkable other than my friend thought the sauce on the Italian Feast was too sweet, compared to what he had previously. Our server was attentive and helpful but did not review the day's specials, which were different than those shown online.

We liked to food , however the Oyster Stew offered as a special didn’t have but one oyster in it. Waiter was excellent

We have enjoyed many meals at Roberto's over the years. The chef owner, Dave, always has something wonderful on the menu in addition to his classics. He is always ready with a smile and a heartfelt greeting. The grouper Neptune is my usual favorite, and the steaks are superb. The sweet chili Thai salmon is excellent too. Our server Josh was pleasant, efficient and helpful. We look forward to our next dinner there.
