Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, RnR Gastropub provide the only two-story dining patio overlooking the vibrancy of Scottsdale Road. As an architecturally modernist eatery, RnR’s industrial style is warmed by exposed brick, dark woods and their signature burnt orange accents. Specializing in modern twists on America’s classic comfort foods, RnR boasts boldly innovative chefs, imported Italian coffees and a 1,800 bottle wine cellar with featured wines by the glass or bottle. RnR’s extensive menu overflows with culinary novelty certain to impress. The space itself is fully indoor/outdoor by use of retractable glass garage doors and features a mix of multi-use seating options, including community tables, booths, lounge and traditional seating.

The drinks were good, but the menu is a bit limited honestly. Our meals were all just OK, but was a fun place to catch up with all the football games on. If you are looking for that vibe, great, but probably would’ve picked somewhere else for dinner.

They add a venue fee and service fee (20% which is the tip) and the service was nonexistent. Since they add the service fee already the servers didn’t pay attention, we had to track them down to ask for items, had to go hand them our bill as they were in the back on their phones. Didn’t know we would be charge a venue fee either.

Just didn’t like the Burger King hashbrowns I think you could cut up some potatoes and make real potatoes for breakfast lol

The service was very slow. It took almost 8 min for someone to walk up and greet us. They never introduced themselves they just asked if we were ready. We asked if we could do the bottomless but without the orange juice due to stomach sensitivity. She seemed annoyed but agreed. the bottomless was filled about 2 times and evertually she just left a caraf when we were about 1 hours in. The food took a long time to come out and so did any drinks that were not bottomless. The food was something similar to what you find in a cafeteria. Nothign special. We sat there without enough silverware for every one fopr about 10 min before we flagged someone down. We are bartenders and servers in the industry and agreed that the lack of effort by the server was cause to not tip 20% but there is an auto grad on the check (which she failed to tell us when she dropped it. I think that is shady.) We paid and left but this group of 6 will not be back.

Bailey is amazing . RNR is just a vibe . Loud but a good gang out spot for a Sunday Sunday .

The good - Food and drinks The bad - Restaurant temp was uncomfortably hot. They had the patio open but without ceiling fans helping move the air, eating there was so uncomfortable. Service was a little slow too. Probably understaffed? Prob a nice spot during winter time.

The restaurant was incredibly loud and not a place to have a conversation with anyone at all. It was incredibly hard to hear even the waitstaff and the server we had seemed to not have the time of day for us. I eat vegan so I planned on getting steak tacos but replacing the steak for breakfast potatoes in order to have a single option on the menu and I was told by the server that she can’t do anything like that and the chefs would not accommodate any menu changes. So I ate nothing as she was also not willing to try and make something work. I am incredibly disappointed in our dining here and would not recommend it for anyone unless they want to eat with a headache, poor service, and limited food options!!
