Our experience at Rix was generally outstanding! Personal, caring service. Small, excellent menu with a variety of uncommon dishes. Beautiful and comfy interior. We have only been there once, but it is now our #1 in GR! My tenderloin was substantial and cooked perfectly, although the accompanying, cold potato salad was a bit out of place alongside the steak. My wife loved her tasty short ribs. Complaints: Chairs were comfortable, but too short for the tables, bringing back memories of being children at the grownup table; Manhattans "up" were a little skimpy; No bread served with the meal. We will definitely return.

Rix was amazing as usual. The service was excellent, ambiance ridiculously cool, and the drinks superb. As always, highly recommended for a hang-out with really good friends - especially throughout the Holiday season.

Foods great, drinks are great, not much urgency from the waiter. Could’ve been an off night for her.

The bacon on bone was incredible. Perfectly cooked and while a pork chop is easy to dry out too much, this was not. Extremely flavorful. The meatballs were excellent. And their cocktails, particularly the Oof was as smooth as it gets. Will certainly be back. A great place in the heart of Ada.

Great first meal at Rix. We will definitely be going again. Nice to have a more upscale restaurant close by and not have to trek downtown.

It was our first time at RIX. We booked a table outside and we weee seated inside. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails up there are uniquely different. They only make their take on the classics and sometimes it’s great (espresso martini) and sometimes it’s not (dirty martini). The apps were very good (cheese board) and polenta tots. Our meals were good, but not great (walleye. I should have tried the burger !). We ordered one dessert for the table. You could tell the kitchen was in a hurry. They rushed out a hot skillet pie and it was like fruit soup with an uncuttable floating top crust. Our server tried to make the best of everything including taking a drink off of our tab and apologizing for the dessert. We will def try it again, but don’t book the 830 seating. The staff does not like the late nights. Really pretty up there, especially outside.

I dined at Rix with my family for my birthday and we all loved our meals and the atmosphere so much! The scallops are a must try!

Food was marginal. We had the braised beef. Small portion with a lot of carbs offsetting the meal. The Caesar Salad also was fair. Didn't care for poached eggs on it, neither did my friend who ordered it. The sliders were very good, which we split between the four of us. Service by Maya was fabulous, food was underwhelming
