RIVER RANCH CATTLE COMPANY was designed to bring “Ranch Chic” dining to an area rich in history of cattle farms and the original cowboys. From the early days of cattle drives to the continuous family ranches you drive past on your way in, the area is known for its sprawling acreage and the historic trail that the cowboys of the 19thcentury used to help drive the growing economy that was being built by using cattle as the main industry. The Cracker Trail was long and treacherous with heat, swamps and predators along the way, but these cowboys still ventured out every day to ensure the economy we enjoy today is thriving.

So raise a glass, and to toast the history of the ranch. Here’s to bringing a little cowboy to your day.

Food was great. Our server was very nice but overwhelmed. The entire resort is completely under staffed and the restaurant is as well. The bar closed at 9:00pm, which was inconvenient as we felt like we had to rush. This is a general issue with this particular resort, so the restaurant suffers the same issue with staffing and service.

Prime rib flavor was great! French onion soup was not what I was expecting and was missing something on flavor. Service was amazing, our waitress was very personable. The drinks were also very good. All and all for the money I expected better quality food.

On top of the menu being extremely limited, they were out of 10oz sirloin leaving the only steak choices 7oz filet mignon or 16oz ribeye. I got the ribeye which was ok but not much seasoning. My wife was extremely disappointed with the half rack ribs which were advertised as slow cooked for 5 hours but were hard, dry and burnt on the ends. Her side of carrots were barely cooked. The loaded baked potato was decent. Service was good and courteous.

We were seated right away but Waited 1 hour for my drink, 2 hours for our food.

Seemed to be an understaffed, did not hear of specials until after we ordered. Table was dirty, restaurant was untidy. Kids were running throughout the dining room while we ate. Salad was great, entrees were good. Food was good but I was hopeful for a more enjoyable overall experience.

Waitress dropped the ball, making a mistake with order and arriving late to table. Soup was luke-warm with a one-note flavor, not at all “classic” French onion as described. Mac and cheese side lacked any interest. Boring. BUT … the dining room supervisor was superb. He did his very best to correct errors and compensate in a very professional manner!

Food was not great, baked potato was really hard and food over all was very spice. Food is very expensive, I don't mind paying for it if is really good.

Food was pricey for what it was Waitress was nice but slow. Ordered steak medium plus but was done too much. Won't go back. Food taste was mediocre

We ended up eating at the bar. The bartenders was very personable & fixed us yummy drinks. The chimichurri steak sandwich was disappointing. (No chimichurri & tough). Overall it was a fun experience. Would go again & order something different.
