We loved the space. Even though it was inside an outdoor tent in the back, it was cozy and warm. The space was decorated with wood everywhere and strung with twinkling lights. The food is amazing! Very fresh local ingredients. The short rib was perfect and the portion very large. The Cassoulet was on of the best we have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant!

What a gem! From the ambience to delicious food to friendly and attentive staff, I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!

We were really excited to try this restaurant and it was very disappointing. The food was underwhelming. The chicken and waffles was basically chicken on smooshed tater tots and the gnocchi was basically big mushy ball with a few pieces of short ribs. We also got the special mushroom soup which had an overwhelming smoky flavor.

It is always freezing in this restaurant in the winter. Food was good. Had one small issue that was quickly taken care of. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Loves our first visit to River and Woods! Darby was our server and she was just lovely. Food was delicious- we highly recommend the tabletop s’mores!

Wonderful brunch at River and Woods. Hard to find a breakfast place with French press coffee but R&W has it and it’s incredible! We celebrated my wife’s birthday today over brunch and every aspect was delightful. Small quaint place but quiet enough to have great conversation over delicious food. We’ll be back again and again!

This was our first visit to this quaint restaurant. It was a Valentines prize fix menu. The food was outstanding and unique. Service was attentive and professional. Can’t wait to try again with their usual menu!

This was our second time dining here and you can tell that the people here care about giving a good service and creating a positive experience. We really enjoyed the experience and the food tasted good. That being said, in my opinion the food (while being excellent quality and very delicious) feels a bit overpriced and not the best value. The portions are really small, and especially when paying $300 for an “American comfort food” meal for two you expect to leave the restaurant feeling satiated.
