                              I visited the restaurant to try the Fremont Restaurant Week menu. We ordered one shared appetizer, two salads, two entrées, and one dessert. The food was decent, but the tiramisu stood out the most. However, the final bill came to $100 per person, which was quite shocking. Even with the special menu, I felt it was overpriced.

                              We had the Restaurant Week 4-course dinner. I'm a foodie with an egg allergy so they substitute the Appetizer choice for the Bruschetta. One note it could use a little parmesan or romano other than that the tomatoes were fresh, the garlic was flavorful & the bread was perfect. The strawberry salad was good but needed more strawberries. The spring mix was organic, the feta was creamy & fresh and the whole plate was dressed just the right amount. Not oiled down like most pre-dressed salads but just the right amount. The star was the walnuts. Obviously candied in the Restaurant's kitchen that day. I think they use brown sugar & organic olive oil. Added just the correct amount of flavor & crunch. For our Entrees, my husband had the Lobster ravioli & I had the grilled rack of lamb. We shared them of course. The ravioli was a cut above but the portion was too small. It was chopped full of lobster & the garlic cream sauce was light & elegant. My lamb was a substantial plate of superior food. The lamb was cooked perfectly with a to-die-for mushroom pan sauce. The broccoli & carrots were brushed with olive oil & roasted. That bought out the natural flavor so well that l happily ate them as they were. The potatoes were soft but bland at first. But they were wonderful after dipping them in the pan sauce. I used the bread they served with flavored olive oil at the beginning of the meal to sop up the leftover pan sauce after I emptied my plate. We shared the Triple Chocolate Mousse for dessert. I've never had triple chocolate anything that melded so perfectly. Mild white chocolate slides into creamy milk chocolate before diving into rich velvety dark chocolate. Nothing overpowering just all 3 working together to create the perfect bite. I love this restaurant. Not just for the amazing meal but the service was professional with care. They suggested a 1/2 bottle of house red which paired with everything & was the perfect amount for 2.

                              I found this spot at random and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! I had a lovely dinner with my friends here. The service was amazing and the food was spectacular. I had the rack of lamb special and ate everything on the plate. Great ambiance and vibes here. Would definitely go again!

                              We decided to dine here for the first time based on positive reviews. The location and restaurant itself is in a small strip mall. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. We enjoyed seeing the great Italian-themed pictures and art on the walls and accompanying low-volume music playing to give us a touch of Italy. The Petrale Sole (Special of the Day) was superb, perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sauce and vegetables very pleasing to the palate. The Risotto with scallops, sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes (another Special of the Day) was excellent. The service was top notch and most appreciated was the attention to our stated food allergies. We were too full to experience their dessert, so we have to go back another time soon.

                              This is one of our favorite local restaurants and our group of 8 really enjoyed our meal at Il Porcino. The restaurant isn't large, but they have a perfect spot for a group of 8-10. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was all delicious. They will happily split salads and make other changes or accommodations if asked.

                              Loved this gem in the Fremont area. Authentic food, charming service, and really nice wine selection at reasonable prices. Mushroom w Gorgonzola appetizer was a standout, but it was all very good/great. House made tiramisu was excellent too.

                              I really need to come here more often as it is a true gem in an otherwise less than stellar dining selection in Fremont. The food and the service are top notch. It is a small venue and so reservations are recommended. We dined for Valentine's dinner and between us we enjoyed the strawberry salad and lobster bisque soup, and a crab cake for starters, all of which were perfect. The steaks were tender and flavorful, cooked just right and I am rather particular so was quite impressed. Very nice wine selection, but I do wish they offered a cocktail menu. The topper for me was the chocolate raspberry cheescake. I normally prefer a very traditional and rich NY cheesecake, but this chocolate-infused variant was out of this world and I want to go back soon just so that I have enjoy that again. Il Porcino is a must to try in Fremont.
