    Very Pleased, Now My Top Italian Cuisine in the area I dined there following the high recommendation and the praise from fellow travelers and frequent guests. I was not disappointed. I live in the area, which lack for Italian cuisine, I mean a true authentic Italian food prepared by a native Italian chef…. I used for several years “Davani’s” and L’Incanto” and both are in decline and the last 2 to 3 time we were disappointed and decided not to visit them again. The Trattoria Giorgio was good but we hated the ambience and the poor service (never back there for many years…). We were lucky to find what we were looking for; Rist. Bergamo. All the dishes we tried, we were happy with and all recommended by the wonderful, courteous and competent waiter “Tony R.) : Prosciutto DOP with Stracciatella cheese …. A must if you have been on the hunt for this cheese in the United State. The Arugula salad is very nice. The Black Truffles…. When in season, do not skip it. Piccatina di vitello …. A true authentic veal dish Monkfish Ossobuco ;;;; it was a special for the day and rarely on the list…. It was a treat for me. We were not crazy about the desserts: The tiramisu was sauced with liquor (poorly executed). The Profiteroles is very good (creamy). The Gelatos all are good. Drinks: The wine list was picked and items chosen by an expert. Ambience: this is not a fine restaurant (we thought so)… people dine there with street cloths. Not quiet, on the slight energetic scale. One observation: I expected Chef Ferro to prepare our main dishes, but he did not, he was busy socializing with his Italian friends who dined that night. But, evidently he trained one cook or may be a sous-chef very well, because our food was very good. I was wondering if those dishes were prepared by him (himself), would they be better or the same!!!! Value: price is very fair for the quality and authenticity. Recommendation: This Italian restaurant became the “Only Italian Restaurant I will dine at

    Overall things were good. Service was very good; food was good but not extraordinary. The dining area was a little too bright. Two things that were a little odd was the restaurant had a add on fee for using a debit/credit card (which is not really an issue) but one thing was the chef walked by our table twice and never acknowledged us even when I talked to him. He just walked by and ignored us. We had a client with us who is new to Greenville, and I doubt either of us will return.

    Great as always. Perfect place for conversation and a relaxing evening. Attentive wait staff. My 95 year old mother in law from NJ raves the NY cheesecake was the best she's ever eaten.

    J.P and staff never fail to impress! It's a favorite of ours with authentic Northern Italian fare with plenty of options for whatever you're in the mood for.
