Excellent burger and fries. Ambience is cold and corporate. Too focused on "design aesthetic" and not on function and warmth. Figuratively and literally. Even though it was 42 degrees outside, the air conditioning was running and the dining room was freezing, We mentioned this to our delightful server(she was the best part of the evening!) and she said they always have the air conditioning on, even when it's freezing outside. We looked around, and all the patrons were wearing their jackets ...as were we. Saving the best for last....the noise level is abominable. We had to yell at each other to hear each other. Not a cozy, warm, calm environment for an intimate tête-à-tête. But if you want to yell at your partner while freezing, in an environment of cold hard loud surfaces, this is the spot for you!

Ambiance and service was great. I ordered the Mulholland Drive Salad and I noticed my bacon bits were burnt and looked liked minced black olives. I was surprised everything was finely chopped so it felt like you’re not eating a salad. Ordered the burrata and toast. Toast was soggy however when I ordered more toast it took 20 min. This is the second time I’ve been and this is the last. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich, at least add fries to the sandwich. Don’t know what the hype is however it’s only good to try this place once for the ambiance and decor.

no one was staffed at the front when we arrived so we had to wait for some time to be attended. there’s a “wine bar” but without really any place to stand and drink except to clutter the walkways. the bathroom wasn’t tidy. my wife and i ordered to share: 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 1 entree, and 1 side. after the appetizer everything arrived at once instead of being coursed - which means the pre-sliced rib-eye that already arrived lukewarm was completely cold by the time we turned to it after the salad. wait staff was generally inattentive. we sat by the window and even with jackets on it was freezing cold. the good: bustling, modern interior with trees inside. consistent with RH’s design aesthetic. we had a great corner booth overlooking the entire restaurant. the banana split dessert was good. overall, not worth it.

We were in the wine country and had lunch at RH, loved it so much we had to try the one near home in Palo Alto. Food was equally as good, but the service was inattentive and very slow. We weren’t in a hurry so it was ok for us. Maybe they are having staffing issues as tables around us were slow to be cleared and reseated, even though there was enough incoming traffic to occupy the tables. Highly recommend reservations, many were turned away for not having a reservations.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great. However, as I was eating my salad, I noticed there was a hair (that was not mine) at the bottom of the plate. Unfortunately, I still left this restaurant hungry. I hope that the team was notified. This definitely changed my outlook on my meal at RH. In addition, the food did take awhile to come out. I would love to return if the service is improved.
