The food was absolutely incredible. I had the Mary’s organic chicken and it was cooked in such a way that it was super juicy and incredible over a bed of mashed sweet potatoes. My wife had the blackened cod which she ate with total joy we didn’t leave a single drop of food on the plates.

This seems to be a Berkeley neighborhood spot more than a special occasion experience. So, if you're looking for a convenient location to grab a meal prior to attending an event at The Berkeley Repertory Theater or its affiliates, this is a good choice.

Really wonderful place and meal for a post Valentine's celebration.We tried several small plates; crab beignets, deviled eggs, the mezzo platter and a beet & kale salad. Each was very well prepared. Our final dish was the dungeness crab pasta. It had a nice flavor but it didn't have much crab in it. Also we each had a Jack Frost cocktail, with and without alcohol and both were delicious.. We'll definitely go back again!

We always tell our guests that everything we have ever ordered at Revival is great! And the service tonight, even though we needed to hurry through dinner so our guests could head for the airport, was spot on, just what we needed.

I visited revival before pandemic. It was 4 stars all around. Post pandemic Food was good but noticing the quality is a notch down Service 3 star it was very annoying that the dish collectors were disrespectful, our dishes still have food in it and they wanting to collect them and interrupt our conversation several times. They came picked up my friend dishes while I am still eating. This part was horrible. Ambiance - The place is very loud because they squeezed more tables in the place to max profit I guess . Too noisy. All in all it felt like dinners food chain experience not fine dinning. Staff need training in restaurants etiquette.

Wish there were just a few less tables in the place. The shortest route to the front door was blocked by three tables that had too many chairs at the table in my opinion.
