Die Villa Merton liegt im „Diplomatenviertel“, einem der elegantesten Frankfurter Quartiere. Richard Merton ließ das Haus im neobarocken Stil 1925 als Privatvilla erbauen. 2002 errichtet der Union International Club in der Villa das Restaurant Villa Merton. Seit 2003 ist das Restaurant durchgehend mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. 2009 bekamen die Räumlichkeiten eine umsichtige Rundum-Erneuerung, des Weiteren wurden im Obergeschoß Räume für exklusive Tagungen im kleinen Kreis geöffnet. PHILOSOPHIE Küchenchef Matthias Schmidt und Restaurantleiter Thierry Felden sind zwei leidenschaftliche Gastronomie-Profis, die mit Ihrem Team diese Leidenschaft für unvergessliche Genüsse an Sie weiter geben.

Desde la llegada, la recepción y el servicio impecables. A pesar de que éramos dos mesas únicamente en todo el lugar, lo impecable de la cocina y sobre todo el esmero y profesionalismo del servicio en todo momento lo hacen un lugar digno de volver cada que sea posible.

Outstanding location. You are in the City but it seems to be immersed far away from traffic and noise. Tables are placed in a way to give the right intimacy. The staff, from when the welcome you, till the end, is very professional. We were four and went for a four course menu. It was possible to select dishes as we wanted, a clear signal to be close to customer desires. The food was perfect, a mix of flavour and texture unique experience. We ask advises for the wine, and what suggested met our expectation. At the end a perfect place for an intimate dinner but also for a business dinner. Please keep this level!

Excellent food and service: very varied dishes, which were beautifully presented, with interesting flavors. Wine pairing was very good, with perfect wine combinations chosen.

Überraschungsmenü am Montag nicht zu empfehlen: 2. Gang geschmacklich durch Kapern dominiert, 3. Gang Lamm wurde erst nahezu kalt und vollständig durchgegart auf lauwarmen Teller serviert, zurückgegeben, dann nach 30 min auf warmen Teller erneut vollständig durchgegart serviert. Michelin Stern nicht nachvollziehbar, Service ist gut und Ambiente auch.

Great culinary experience, everything was really good quality, innovative and tasty. We had the Mondays chef menu. Great surprise, also in terms of quantity. Service really great and the place, in the garden in summer, romantic and cozy. For a great day!

Wir waren wieder begeistert. Der Service war super und das Ambiente ist immer toll. Die kulinarischen Kreation waren hervorragend. Wieviel Geschmack man aus Spargel herausholen kann oder wie zart der Maibock zubereitet werden kann - absolute spitzenklasse.
