Region continues to be one of my girlfriends and my favorite restaurants. The location, service, vibe and food are all excellent. Last night's special, Alaskan halibut was the best meal I've ever had. I will be craving it and hope it returns as a special or on the regular menu.

Kathy checked us in - her greeting and smile makes you feel immediately at ‘home’. Crystal was our server this evening and she was fabulous! Our meals were fantastic - the Japanese tempura shrimp appetizer special was delicious! For dinner, I had the salmon special and my husband had the cioppino. The English sticky toffee pudding dessert is always on point! Thomas was the manager on duty tonight - he swung by our table to ensure we were having a great experience. Thank you Thomas! We love Region!

Great food, delivered quickly. Server was attentive and gave us plenty of time for our business dinner. Recommendations were well received. Cocktails and wine were excellent.

First time dining at Region and it will be our last. Made reservations weeks ago for an 8pm reservation. Showed up 20 minutes early and told the gal at check in we would be at the bar. She said she would come find us. A few minutes after 8 my husband went back to the check in stand and a tall woman with blond hair got very snippy with him stating she called our name at the bar. This was a blatant lie. That never happened. Finally got a table and it took at least 20 minutes to get waited on and the waitress was not very pleasant. I think she came over maybe 3 times the whole evening. Food was good, but no better than any steakhouse, maybe slightly cheaper. I'd be willing to pay more for an outstanding steak and great service, though. If you want a similar restaurant experience with better service, Montarra in Algonquin.

I appreciate you taking the time to review your first dining experience at Region. It is extremely disappointing to hear of the poor service, though pleased to read you enjoyed the food. This type of service is not our standard by any means. I assure you that I WILL follow through with the staff involved to avoid this happening again. Always a great evening out at Region. Food and service were excellent. We were celebrating our son’s 28th birthday and had a lovely experience-apps, mains and dessert were all well done and tasty, and drinks were well made as well. This is not a cheap night out, but it delivers value for the price.
