Excellent service friendly staff only negative was children blocking entrance to disabled toilets, but you can't help the behaviour of some parents

Last minute arrangement for Sunday lunch and we were lucky to get a table. The pub was busy with a great atmosphere. Our party all opted for the mixed meat selection Sunday meal - all meats, beef, chicken and pork cooked to perfection. Lovely selection of vegetables to accompany and served piping hot and very tasty. Our waitress was lovely. She was very attentive and efficient. A really enjoyable meal and a great atmosphere

Enjoyed every morsel. The men felt they would have appreciated a little more on the plate. For me, if that were the case, I couldn't have had a pudding. Cherry covered the coconut ice cream topped with a piece of waffle. Ok the menu sounded better. I'm going back. Music was very good.. mixed genres . Loved it loved it loved it.

Fabulous evening in the restaurant Food was excellent as were the staff The place was lovely, clean and spacious Will be returning for my birthday meal with the family Has now become our place for a date night

Lovely food and our waitress was fab. My mushroom starter was delicious and my partner said he loved the chicken liver parfait. Steak main course was cooked as I requested and so tasty. Partner had half chicken with BBQ sauce - he said it was tasty, slightly dry.

Both chose off weekday set menu(£17) of starter and main, paid £2 supplement each for the rump steaks, they were heavenly! Cooked to perfection and with tasty chips too! Yum! I would recommend the garlic and Stilton mushroom starter too. The peppercorn sauce was beautiful. Good service and very polite. Will definitely be using again, and have already recommended to friends, who all like the sound of it.
