   My special requests were followed to the T! Great service and very good food …a great culinary experience as a whole!! Shame the outdoor seating was not open yet, but when t is, we will certainly go back for the Hudson River view and for the outdoor feel experience. Sincerely… Carlos B

   I was recently to Red Hat for a birthday luncheon and everything was delicious. The one bit of feedback I have it that for the nicoise salad I would either offer the dressing on the side or dress it lighter. Both my sister and I had it and we both thought it was delicious but overdressed. Just a suggestion. The staff, ambience and other things we ordered were all great!

   Nice location. Food was good and nicely presented Service could be a tad better (for example, drink came after the food). Apparently if you want bread you have to ask for it. (Or at least we did). Have no idea if there is a wine list. No one asked if we wanted one. However, the variety of wine by the glass on the menu is very limited. It's little things like that that impact an experience. If you're hankering for an outside experience, know that it's basically some tables and chairs right outside, not a truly special area.

   Excellnt food, The hamburgers are one of the best in the area. The special Beef Bourgogne was very well made and delicious. The service could have been better. The waiter took out order and left. Fodd came quicklyl, but instructions were not heeded. I wanted "no cheese" but that's what I got. Cheese. Still delicious, as I didnt want to start over!, Desseert was excellent. Coffee was ordered with "no Milk" but with cream or half and half. Order came delivered with hot milk. Took a long time to get our waiter back and had to get a another staff person to get the half and half. Our waiter had too many tables. Lot's of other busboys and waiters milled around. Using a handheld device to order is OK, but notes must be taken care of wither on or off the tablet. Fortunately, it was a very good meal and of course we will be vak as we have visited this restaurant many times.

   AMAZING!! Got the mussels, oysters, cod, steak and meatballs!! Steak was a little too salty but not that big of a deal .. one of my favorite restaurants! Staff was impeccable!!

   One of our party has a severe hearing disability and the staff made every attempt to seat us in a location that was sheltered from most of the noise.

   Have dined here several times. Always delightful and satisfying. Great location looking out on Hudson River with Tappan Zee and GW Bridges at either end. Tucked away from the crowds in this riverside park area of Irvington. Restaurant is comfortable with tables just far enough apart to create privacy. Service is attentive and constant. Food is outstanding. Winter specials Mon, Weds, Thurs, make frequenting Red Hat easy. You can eat at the bar, at a high-top area in the bar, or in their dining area down or upstairs. Highly recommended!!!

    Love the welcome upon arrival and high level of service and hospitality, beautiful ambience, delicious food … we loved it all!
