We put all our heart and soul into a creative and unique experience. Our Omakase is a pre-fixed menu based on raw fish and shellfish. All ingredients come from Japan, prepared with Japanese techniques and elements. Our Omakase is a fine dining, intimate experience, prepared in front of our guests to highlight the integrity of our dishes.
CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS are allowed 72 hours in advance. Less than 72 hours will be charged for the full price of Omakase per guest plus tax

Our anniversary celebration at Rebel Omakase was an experience we will treasure. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped by an ambiance that perfectly blended refined elegance with Japanese simplicity, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Each course was a masterpiece—carefully curated, exquisitely plated, and layered with flavors that were both deeply traditional and surprisingly inventive. The precision in preparation was evident, showcasing the chef's expertise and commitment to perfection. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive but never intrusive, anticipating every need with grace and professionalism. Each dish was presented with a thoughtful explanation, enhancing our appreciation of the ingredients and their seasonal significance. When my wife and I are in Laguna Beach, we have to visit rebel Omakase The chef is a dedicated artist. The chef‘s wife handles restaurant operations. Always with perfection. We’ve always trusted Chef to deliver a delicious fabulous meal that is always memorable. The courses are well thought out. Wine selections are great. We hope rebel Omakase remains in Laguna Beach for a long time. Operating at this level is not easy. So go.

A wonderful meal. I believe this would be considered a kaiseki-style service - a mixture of prepared dishes and sushi - my apologies if I used the wrong term, but diners should not expect a strictly sushi service. Really enjoyed that the nigiri was woven in between the prepared dishes, rather than all in a row as a segment of the larger meal. Two pieces of beautiful fish were prepared multiple times in between the dishes throughout the meal, allowing me to focus on the unique flavors and textures. Service was exceptional. Cross your fingers that the hairy crab dish is available when you go.

Excellent high end experience. Everything is spot on in first class details, down to the beautiful ancient- like beautiful bowls, paper thin water glasses, ambiant music, simplicity, service. Like having your own personal sushi chef. Everything is made for each individual in real time directly from the chef and 2 assistants. I was there for lunch and was totally satisfied when the experience was over. They seat only 6 people for lunch. I think I might make this my monthly indulgence.

Amazing dining experience with impeccable service and delicious courses, which included a lot of exotic nigiri. Delighted to have tried a crown melon and loved the parting gift. Thank you for the memorable experience.

Unbelievably good food. Service was outstanding. It was a little too quiet - would have liked if the chef talked more, especially about the food or preparation. But overall it was definitely an experience to be had and worth the price. I had read a few reviews about the quantity of food served but it was more than enough. For an average eater, it was a healthy sized meal.
