Raw Bar & Grill is a seafood restaurant in Chicago. Located inside of an old-fashioned brick building, this restaurant is exceptional inside and out. The dining room is sleek, crisp and clean with deep purple textured walls, black tables and white leather chairs. In the bar area, the colors are much lighter and more lively. Guests can choose between the more intimate and ambient dining area or the vibrant and exciting bar. Cuisine at the Raw Bar & Grill ranges from excellent small plates at the bar to succulent entrées for lunch and dinner. Peter J. McGarrity is behind the menu, and some of his popular dishes include the Blue Point oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail with avocado, charred tiger shrimp, smothered alligator, beef empanada and the signature Raw Bar & Grill Tower.

Would never return. Left after having one awful lemon drop martini. Did not order food. The menu was nothing at all like what was offered on their website. Server had no idea about anything but in her defense it was only her third day working there. Terrible experience.

When we got to the restaurant it was closed . There were notes on the outside of the place with an explanation. We could not believe it. We did a reservation using Open Table and never cross our minds to call and confirm that was open.

They had a limited menu not the menu shown on open table. We never got our food. We ordered and sat and sat and not even our appetizer made it out. We kept asking what was going on and they just said it was busy. Finally we just got up and left. It was terrible We will never go back and would tell everyone to stay away.

We had a reservation before a concert at Wrigley & gave ourselves 1 1/2 hours to eat before needing to leave. We told he server we had the concert...We were told that the regular menu was unavailable because of the concert & they had a abbreviated menu. We ordered a few beers & our entree selections & after over an hour of waiting with not even the humus & pita brought to the table we told the waiter to cancel our order & left.

The waitress was inept, and the kitchen was running very slow. The food was cold and the orders were wrong

This restaurant was underwhelming. We chose it because it is close to Wrigley Field and we wanted a decent meal before a ballgame. The Game Day menu was disappointing. The oyster were small and not terrible juice (opened for a while, perhaps). The beer list was limited.

we left because it was the worst dining experience ever. reservations would not be needed at this place that should be considered completely a BAR, but certainly cannot even call themselves that with the limited drink/beer selection. I don't know why anyone would go there.

Arrived on time to find the door locked. The restaurant had closed and no one had bothered to let people with reservations know.
