Food was good. Sat at bar as we were early for our reservation. Small restaurant. Can be loud. Staff was nice. Felt more affordable given the recent level of inflation.

Ravello’s used to be one of our faves but it has gone way down hill. Service, food ,everything. I was done the last time we went but tonight was definitely it! We invited friends out and the service was so poor. The waiter was rude and completely disinterested. Service was unbelievably slow and no sooner than us receiving and paying our check the manager came over to ask us to leave because his next reservation arrived. Unbelievable! Our friends were still trying to finish their desert. Embarrassing. We will not be back and we will be spreading the word around town. The worst!

My husband is half Italian and has picky tastes when it comes to Italian food. He says that Ravello is one of the best Italian restaurants in MA. The bruschetta and pappardelle bolognese are amazing!

Ravello is one of our favorite restaurants - a perfect neighborhood hangout! We usually go for dinner but today I went for lunch. Far quieter and the food was equally delicious! My friend didn't make it, so I had a nice conversation with my server, Eric. Thanks for making it a great experience!

Excellent food, ambience, and service. The only disappointment was that the online reservation form seems to promise that the restaurant is happy to help customers acknowledge special events, but it didn't do that for us. (The online reservation form asks whether the reservation is a birthday event, and we check-marked "yes". The form also has a space for Special Instructions, and we asked whether we might have a candle on our birthday celebrant's dessert. Sadly there was no birthday acknowledgement by Ravello last night. )

The good news: The food was terrific. All three of us were really pleased. The other news: We had a 20 minute wait in a very small and crowded restaurant though we’d made a reservation. If a restaurant is so tiny it can’t put a table aside, maybe it shouldn’t take reservations, at least on Saturday nights. I asked if we should settle the bar tab before being seated at the table and was assured it would be transferred, but it wasn’t. We were given calamari (not something I would eat) as compensation for our wait, but found it added to our bill. We had to nudge for water. I’m a bit of a pain (sorry!) when it comes to food, so would just suggest maybe one more vegetarian pasta dish for the menu.
