A wonderful dining experience with a great menu. Staff is very attentive and the food is phenomenal. We enjoy the seasonal chnages, and special menus on certain nights is great! We've been there a few times and never had a bad experience.

What a wonderful meal! We were at Rare to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered the charred octopus as our appetizer, my husband ordered the 10oz steak which was cooked perfectly. I ordered the gnocchi, which our server recommended, she was not wrong! It was amazing. Our lovely server asked what we were celebrating, then proceeded to bring out a complimentary dessert of my husband's choice, and even quietly sang happy birthday to him. Everything was perfect. This will now be our "go to" restaurant. Thank you to Rare for a fantastic evening. If you haven't experienced Rare, you need to check it out.

This was the best dinner experience me and my fiancé have had in a long time over all, the food was amazing we had the duck and chicken supreme dish as well as some Bourbon to sip on which was very nice, over all a very romantic quiet setting making our date perfect it’s quiet and very classy feeling it was a 10/10 experience even the service is not intrusive but always attentive when you are sorted out with a dish or drink. We will be definitely be going back.

Had a wonderful date night at Rare in Peterborough on Saturday evening. It was our first time there, and when we entered it was to a warm and inviting atmosphere with soft pleasurable music. Our host paid attention to our OpenTable reservation and greeted me by name. She also noticed my food allergies and made suggestions before I even considered anything on the menu. Our food was delicious, perfectly prepared and portion size was generous. Everything was fairly priced. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was good , the service was a little slower than we thought it should be for things that were not food related. Would go back.

Absolutely an excellent dining experience. We started with the Rare salad and then we both had the duck dinner. We can’t wait to return
