Both of did wine flights. Great wines. We also both had the different soups of the day. Also good. We had a table up front (inside) and the front door was kept open. A nearby heat lamp would have been helpful. We will be back!

Always a great experience at Rancho Capistrano Winery. Janay took care of us once again and made the evening wonderful! We brought a couple that had not been before to RCW and live here in San Clemente and they were so impressed that they joined the wine club. All of the servers are great but Janay always makes us feel at home. We had the halibut and scallops and they were prepared to perfection. If you go to this location, do not miss out on the jalapeno soup! It will put you right where you want to be! Thanks RCW crew, you helped us entertain at a next level

Absolutely love coming here. My husband was deployed for our anniversary so we came as a late anniversary/celebration of his homecoming. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff.

I normally go to the sister restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. The food and service is comparable between the two restaurants! The difference is the ambience … the San Clemente is indoor dining primarily with outdoor dining on Del Mar Street whereas the one in San Juan Capistrano is outdoor dining on a lovely patio with heat lamps and a fireplace (if needed)! I like this one but I prefer to meet up with friends at the one in San Juan Capistrano!

We have had many great experiences at RCW but this one wasn’t one of them. I have celiac disease and made it clear to the server who assured me I’d be take care of. We ordered Brussels sprouts which I asked to not be made in the fryer. When they came out they looked different than they did the night before. I asked the food runner if they were gluten free. He looked confused and said yes. I told him they looked different than the ones I’ve had before and asked him to check before I ate them. The server came back and said they were NOT gluten free and took them away. I would have gotten pretty sick if I’d eaten them so glad I avoided that but am now Leary about going back there again.

Service friendly but they were understaffed. The Jalapeño soup was inedible. Both bowls were left full. Server didn’t notice we did not eat it. When I made the reservation I noted we would like to celebrate my friends birthday which is on the 30th and today was the only day we could all meet up. That was never acknowledged. The appetizers and flat bread were very good and the wine was decent.

All the food servers at the San Clemente location are great, but this time we had Zach X2! The 2 of them worked like the perfect team and our entire family enjoyed the food as well as the experience. The best "Home Town" Winery!

We had a reservation for brunch, and it was delicious! The sparkling wine and Riesling were especially good, as were the fig bruschetta and fried cauliflower. The pesto burrata chicken sandwich was a bit wet (the pesto and burrata really just oozed through the sourdough onto my hands), but the lemon truffle fries were really good. Also liked the crab cake and filet Benedict’s, and the sausage in the ranch breakfast was really good. Our mains were quite slow in coming out, but it gave us a chance to digest after the appetizers, so I wasn’t really that upset!
