    Restaurant was very busy and food took much longer than expected (30+ min from ordering meal to food coming out to the table. Staff were trying their best but appeared understaffed (may be in the kitchen).

    Due to the prevalence and escalation of violence at the mall where the restaurant is located, we will not be returning.

    Food was better than expected and portions were huge. We enjoyed the storms that came through and being there later in the evening meant that it wasn’t too crowded or loud.

    Honestly, it was very disappointing. We were there for a very special event regarding my daughter. Our server was excellent, and the food was what we expected it to be. However, we found out that prior to our arrival they turned off all of the animal effects. The reason you go to the Rainforest Café is to experience animals movements, their noises, and their reaction to the thunderstorms. We were there for over an hour prior to realizing that this was not what we expected. We discussed it with our server who informed me that they had turned off all the effects but would turn them on for us. At this point, we are nearing the end of our meal and we were not able to experience them. My 10-year-old niece was particularly disappointed and asked if we could come back sometime when they were working the way they were supposed to.

    Much improved food. Still no prices on the menus for many items. $11 for a child’s smoothie drink is a bit much. I shouldn’t have to ask what the cost is for drink items, especially when the advertising is directed at children.

    Food was great. Server was mediocre but typically we have great service. My son loves RFC and we’re here at least twice a month.
