At Pythouse Kitchen Garden, you'll find an idyllic atmosphere in which to enjoy fantastic food. We offer covered outdoor seating in our glorious garden and indoor seating in the conservatory and potting shed. Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a lunchtime destination only at present.

Head chef Darren Broom's passion lies in producing food with an unmistakable sense of terroir. For Darren, provenance is not just the backstory to his ingredients, it’s everywhere in the look, feel and taste of his food.

We are keen to champion our own produce first and foremost, providing guests with a unique and ever-changing insight into the seasons. We work closely with the garden team to manage and maintain the garden and to deliver a programme of regeneration and sustainability.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a private party paradise. You can lose yourself in magical nature and feast on its treasures as they grow around you. The fruit and vegetables are grown solely for you and your guests and harvested on the day of your celebration. The abundant flowers, specimen trees and 18th Century architecture form a heavenly backdrop. Parties at PKG are invariably colourful, chic and fun. From unique seasonal weddings with a homegrown twist, to glamorous, formal sit-down dinners, the walled garden provides for all.

Would thoroughly recommend. We’ve been for Sunday lunch a couple of times and will definitely return. Great ambience, service and fantastic locally sourced food, some from the gardens themselves. What’s not to love. Thank you to the team for an overall great experience.

A truly delicious lunch with produce from the gardens. What a lovely menu! The presentation was immaculate, the service perfect and the restaurant was so beautiful.

What a refreshing change to have a brunch menu which is off the norm. Arrived to a warm, friendly welcome, toasty open fire in the restaurant. So glad we booked as it was full. Such a superb range of dishes it was hard to choose. Excellent coffee and the food had so many interesting flavours and elements. Delicious brunch and faultless service. The atmosphere had that start of the weekend vibe. Wanted to try all of the. Great dishes on offer so will just have to go back. Supervalue for money!!

Fourth or fifth time here. Standards never drop. Autumn menu is my favourite but it's a tough field because it's consistently excellent. Had top Guinea fowl and delicious leeks with a padron pepper puree. Service so charming and knowledgeable but still relaxed.

The food was delicious exceptionally good quality, very friendly service, lovely peaceful environment, beautiful garden to walk round, where you can see all the vegetables and fruits they serve you in the restaurant.
