Never felt so compelled to leave a positive review. Wow. Everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was pure perfection. The live music courtesy from Victoria Sharpe was brilliant as well. I did appreciate however that it didn’t start until about half way through our date so we could focus more on the food, drinks, and conversation. So only advice would be find out when the live music begins and arrange so you get there before. Still don’t miss it though because it really adds to the experience. Can’t wait it come back!

I've been about 4 times in the past. It was my sons first time. We both had a great time and were well looked after by our very own Scouseafrican.

Puffin Rooms is quite simply my favourite bar. The interior design is beautifully done, evocative of a stylish bygone era. The staff are warm and welcoming, and they provide the customer with engaging conversation. I love the fact that there are over two-hundred whiskies/whiskeys behind the bar, some of which have become personal favourites after trying them here. The Steak Diane I tried last night was delicious. The meat was tender, the sauce very flavoursome.

Overall very good although the love music could have stared earlier and the menu could have had perhaps one or two additional options

A lot of barriers. Waited outside 5/10 mins before being let in. Booked a time which was confirmed, then a week later was emailed informing me that my booking had been moved earlier without notice. Spoke to venue weeks before booking to discuss and informed that we can still come at our required time. Called up on the day as courtesy to say we were running ‘late’ which they said was fine. When we turned up, we were told that we were late and we could only have an hour instead of the 2.5hrs which you are meant to get. We are big fans of Puffin rooms but have felt underwhelmed by our recent experience.

The food was not nice, and it was overpriced. The whisky cigar part was okay.

Had an amazing evening, great atmosphere and staff are fantastic too . Thank you will be visiting again for great drinks and enjoyed the cheese board too
