Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Also available to book out for events.

Experience an 8 course set menu curated dinner from our culinary team that is sure to tantalize your taste buds and wow you from beginning to end. Price includes tax and gratuity. Wine pairings available as an extra add-on. Our culinary team uses fresh local produce and the highest quality proteins available to create a rotating menu for the "foodie" at heart. You will be enjoying this experience in a comfortable dining setting nestled approximately 30 feet underground in caverns that were hand built in the 1800s. The caverns were discovered by accident while constructing our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex. It was at that point that we knew we had to repurpose this piece of history into the most unique dining experience in the area.

This experience was amazing!! Highly recommended dining at the caverns! The food was great and the staff were very professional and had incredible service!! We will definitely be dining here again in the future!

I booked this for my wife’s birthday. It was by far the best pairing we’ve been to. The food, wine, and service was outstanding. I highly recommend this experience

This was probably one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever been to in my entire life. Me and my lady went here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food out of this world but the learning, the atmosphere, and the overall experience was worth every penny. We will 100 percent be back here!

Very lovely evening with this unique experience. Our wait staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was amazing and perfectly paired with delicious wines. This was a fabulous dinner.

It was a neat experience. It wasn't very busy which was wonderful for catching up with our friends as there wasn't much noise in the restaurant. The wine was surprisingly good.

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The food was absolutely wonderful, service was great. I really loved the atmosphere and history of the place. The owners came down and introduced themselves, I thought that was a nice touch. Thank you, Prohibition at the Caverns, for making our 8th anniversary one to remember.

Amazing service and food. Unfortunatly acoustics a challenge. We were seated by a table of eight and they were just extremely loud and inappropriate, but you cannot fault the staff and the chef for ignorance
