Porthminster Kitchen serves up a refreshing, playful take on Cornish cuisine, introducing a menu of smaller plates and lighter options which combine global flavours, fresh local ingredients and creative cooking.

We have stripped out much of what is unnecessary; dairy and gluten take a backseat in favour of fresh and exciting textures and flavours.

Porthminster Kitchen enjoys awe-inspiring panoramic views from its location in the heart of St Ives. From your vantage point above the harbour, escape the hustle and bustle and relax on our sun-drenched terrace, or gaze out from huge windows and take in the 180° view.
We are dog friendly but have limited space for our furry friends please let us know when booking to avoid disappointment.

Outstanding Our first visit and definitely won’t be our last The staff were friendly and service was fast and efficient. We had the Sunday lunch and everything on the plate was delicious. I can quite honestly say it was the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had We’ll definitely be back for more

Went for Sunday Roast which was great and so was the service which was as good as ever . Highly recommended.

Exactly what it said on the 'tin'....catch of the day was excellent, curry was very yummy. Wine great value will go again.

As always excellent customer service from the team , really friendly, calm and helpful. The event of the evening 5 course menu was really fantastic and we had a great experience.

Prices are getting ridiculous- such a shame as we love this restaurant. I do realise costs are going through the roof but…… Lovely staff

We visited today for Sunday lunch and managed to sit 11 of us perfectly! The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional! I will be dreaming of the Sunday roast until we visit again!
