Porta'Vino offers an impressive wine list at prices competitive with local discount wine stores! In fact, many guests purchase cases of wine to go, so we consider Porta'Vino part wine store. You are also welcome to BYOB for a corkage fee.

Signature dishes include Calabrese Crispy Shrimp, Balloon Bread, Wild Boar Bolognese, Barramundi Sea Bass & our Double-Cut Smoked Pork Chop! Make sure to save room for our Coconut Cream Pie, Medium Rare Brownie, or Apple Crisp. You can't go wrong with our menu selections.

The restaurant has a welcoming dining room, a spacious patio, and private dining rooms for events. A free parking garage is located behind the restaurant. Park, Dine, then walk to the nearby Woodlands Pavilion.

Porta'Vino also hosts a Winemaker Dinner Series. To receive invitations to these special events, please email events@portavino.com.

Since its founding in 1973, the Cakebread family has set out to create quality wines that pair best with good food and good company. We hope that you will join us! Menu: First Shrimp, Beurre Blanc, Haricot Vert salad w/ Champagne Vinaigrette Cakebread Sauv Blanc Second Seared Scallop, English Peas, Tarragon, Truffle Oil Cakebread Chardonnay Third Pork Belly, Baked Apple, Sherry Vinegar Agra Dolce Cakebread Pinot Noir Fourth Short Ribs, Smoked Onion Potato Mash, Porcini Jus Cakebread Cabernet Fifth Cherry Crumble Dancing Bear Cabernet The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7 pm. Fantastic restaurant! Reasonable prices, nice outdoor seating and great food! Also love that we can bring our own wine - although they have great wine prices too! One of our favorite places in The Woodlands

Our server Tyler and the staff were personable and attentive without hovering. Water glasses stayed full and wine was topped off as needed. Food came out in good time with proper spacing between courses and all was very well prepared. We had a guest visiting town and conversation was easy with a quiet atmosphere. To be fair, on a busier night, the whole place will have some noise but rarely so much to interfere with comfortable table talk

We love the quiet ambiance of Porta'Vino. It is a neighborhood gem. The food is alway delicious and the wines are reasonably priced and wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant for casual dinners or special occasions. We always have a wonderful time at Porta'Vino.

The food, wine, and service were fantastic! I personally didn’t love the “medium rare brownie”. I was expecting a slightly underbaked, gooey brownie, but it was more of a cake texture. I also would’ve loved some music outside for ambience. But other than that, it was amazing! We will definitely go back.
