You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.

The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.

A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.

Plate at No.6 in collaboration with Darling Buds of Windsor bringing you a premium wreath making masterclass including all materials to make your beautiful Christmas wreath to take home. Included is a welcome drink (a glass of Prosecco or a Sunrise Mojito) and 3 tapas plates. Houmous with homemade bread (v), Macerated Mediterranean Vegetables(v) and a choice of Spanish Meatballs with smoky tomato sauce OR Falafel with tomato & cucumber salad.

We dined here a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. I’m a local and never dined here but it kept popping up on my searches. So we decided to give a go. And, we were not disappointed. Graham, who served us, welcomed us and he was so calm and made us feel really relaxed for our meal. He chatted about the food and how everything was fresh and recommended amazing dishes. They hit the spot. We ordered the salad, some fresh breads, olives, beef and some patata bravas. I will definitely return with family and friends. It’s a small restaurant but perfect and it is hidden behind the wonky house. It’s a perfect spot for locals and tourists. The prices are great.

Variety of small plates. All good except for one desert (polenta cake) and friendly service. Not cheap but reasonable value and would go back

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday for two. Delicious food and wine, lovely friendly service and atmosphere and so much passion for the quality of the food. If you are looking for something small and different this place is perfect. So refreshing with so many chains of restaurants around. Price was very reasonable as well.

Plate No. 6 is a delightful, independently-owned Mediterranean tapas restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for two on a Saturday evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, clearly passionate about their restaurant and food. We ordered five dishes, which was a satisfying amount, and I highly recommend the taramasalata and bacon croquettes. With a bottle of wine, our total came to under £100, making it a great value. We definitely recommend Plate No. 6!

Extremely excellent food from the chef and he's kitchen staff. Olivia the waitress was very sweet. Graham especially was the highlight of our experience. wonderful as always and generous. Highly recommend this restaurant.
