From start to finish on a beautiful sunny evening we had an absolute cracker of a meal and delicious cocktails and wine to go with. The Skull Island prawns were sucked dry - unexpectedly more delicious than any prawn I have encountered before in a seaweed butter sauce that I would struggle to replicate at home. I say tuck in, savour the food and lap up the atmosphere, aided by humorous waiting staff who were attentive but never patronising or diminishing in any way. May this place last for years to come as it is today - rough around the edges and polished in the places that count.

I have been so eager to dine at Pipi’s for some time & I’m so thrilled I did today. The experience, delicious & creative food and outstanding & accommodating service were of the highest quality. More than anything, clever & genuine effort to accommodate my mum’s dietary needs, was outstanding. Everyone was lovely. The view and spaces truly shone. The only thing that troubled us was the music volume. The 3 of us were treated to such a memorable and exceptional meal. Thankyou.

The venue has it all to have and AMAZING restaurant, however the food disappointed. The service was amazing, and the view one of the best in Melbourne to have dinner looking at the sunset. We had the whole flounder which was well cooked, but the sauce lacked flavour, the scotch fillet had too much peppercorn sauce; the chips were good but the alioli felt more like butter, than mayonnaise. For entrance the croquettes weren’t anything like the real Spanish ones, and the strachiatella with fig lacked a wow factor, some dressing/sauce that enhanced the flavours. The focaccia would have been thousand times better if it was warm and with something as simple as a dish with olive oil next to it. When the menu is as small as this one, everything needs to be magnificent, which it wasn’t for us this time. Maybe our expectations for the restaurant were too high.

We dined at Pipis Kiosk for New Years Eve and everything about the night was fabulous, from the food to the service through to the atmosphere.

Overall very nice experience. Food was okay. Some dishes were great and some mediocre. They had some experimental dishes on the menu since it was new years eve. Some of them did maybe not work so well. Service was also okay. However nothing special. The setting and location is great. I would recommend Pipis Kiosk. Very good job.
